I stayed in a lovely deluxe queen room with a cozy canopy bed and felt very welcomed, situated in a perfect mid-city location.

So glad we chose it, spent 1 superb days here. The location offered was marvellous so close to Scotland as well as restaurants.

Amazing and exceptionally nice location, the free parking was available. Moreover, the hotel was situated only 1 km from Penpont Parish Church. Everything was perfect, including an absolutely superb breakfast choice👍👌

our stay at scaurbridge house in thornhill was absolutely delightful. elizabeth ann, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and treated us to a wee dram and delicious homemade scones. the room was cozy with a stunning view, and the freshly cooked breakfast, including scones and locally sourced bacon and eggs, was simply phenomenal. elizabeth ann's attention to detail and hospitality made our stay even more special.

Excellent breakfast with scones and rhubarb ginger compote. Superb host, very helpful and accommodating. Comfortable and spacious period house with a relaxed atmosphere. Convenient location, a few miles from our destination. Individual Scottish decor, great view from the room, and homemade tray bakes.

Every detail was lovingly taken care of, from the beautifully cooked breakfast with organic and local ingredients to the homemade scones and shortbread. The comfortable bedroom, with its quality furniture and linen, ensured a great night's sleep. We loved the warm and relaxed atmosphere and Elizabeth Ann's fantastic sense of humor. Our dog was even greeted with a handmade sausage treat. It truly felt like a home away from home.
